Info for BOD candidates - special election

Thank you for your interest in being a member of the BOD!  The BOD conducts most business by email, but does have one monthly meeting, usually the first or second Tues at lunchtime that typically lasts 1 1/2 hours or so.  The BOD is composed of (9) members, each term is (2) years with roughly half the BOD being elected each cycle.  Each member usually sits on two committees as well, which usually also conduct most business by email.  For more information on the rules and governance, please see the bylaws. To be eligible to sit on the BOD, only membership in the CCA is required, that is, anyone who is a member may run for and sit on the BOD.

This election will be for a (1) year term to fill the second half of a departing BOD member's term.

The election will be closed on November 12, 2014 and bios with proxy ballots will be distributed by November 4, 2014.  In order to prepare the bios, we need to have your info by October 31, 2014 - provide a brief bio and photo you like to Chris Stafford (chris.stafford@nist.gov), the election chair for this election.

An example bio of candidates is linked below for your convenience.  Thank you for your interest in keeping the CCA functioning!
